Mediterranean sounds, evocative voices, so much passion. These are the main elements of Aquadia: the disk of the violinist composer Cannavacciuolo Lino, presented at Theatre Gallery Toledo, in the heart of the Spanish neighborhoods of Naples. Nine tracks that tell the location and design research of an artist from Naples rich and varied curriculum. Lino Cannavacciuolo has in fact worked in theater with artists such as Peppe Barra, Philip De Luca and Roberto De Simone. After founding (in '90) the group "Solis String Quartet", participated in tours of Adriano Celentano, Edward Jackson and Claudio Baglioni. This disc is dedicated to Concetta Barra, is the first of Lino Cannavacciuolo and wants to enclose itself the many souls of the Mediterranean. Played on acoustic and electric bases, represents a true mosaic-style sound Word Music. The selections are his best compositions, the most expressive. Witnesses and interpreters, some of the most significant voices of Southern art scene. We find that Peppe Barra, with its frenzied and passionate drama, brings the first and last song (Masada and Falankos) its extreme Naples. As we listen, in the fifth and the ninth track, the beautiful Faraualla, the female vocal group that Bari has already enriched with his contributions, hard as Hata (Rocco De Rosa and Martin Kongo) and Triboh (Maria Pia De Vito , Arto Tuncboyaciyan and Rita Marcotulli). In Aquadia we still find the extraordinary participation of the Mancuso brothers who bring a little 'more authentic culture of the Sicilian lullaby (Nai nà) written with Lino. Still there Auli Kokko who plays a sweet song that she wrote the text in Swedish and, looking through the names of the artists who collaborated on this production, we find Antonio Infantino (the historical leader of Tricarico Tarantolati), Mauro Nardi Gino Evangelista, Roberto D'Aquino, Piero De Asmundis, Richard Veno, and many others. Everyone agrees on the extraordinary sensitivity that makes an artist Lino Cannavacciuolo careful and valuable. The state says Peppe Barra and also Filippo De Luca in his introduction to the disc. Listening to it, we can not give them that right. Flax is able to communicate feelings and moods perfectly, but especially fascinated with his energetic and passionate way in which he plays. Draws us into his world and, ultimately, helps us to find out what is our own world. It sounds like this our land without delineate its boundaries. The CD, produced by the Florence Music and Harmony opens the "Forrest Hills Mediterranean", dedicated entirely to the music of the Mediterranean.
